Brainco, suppliers of reference systems, CEMS and AQMS, are partnering with South Coast Science to supply Praxis products to customers across Argentina.
The Argentinian company has over 10 years experience supplying air quality monitoring solutions and 25 years on stack emission monitoring. Brainco has a long history of representing and supplying analytical instruments and works with large facilities like testing laboratories, power plants, steel manufacturing sites, oil refineries and government offices and universities.
Air quality monitoring within reach for new customers
Through Brainco, Praxis devices offer accurate and cost-effective monitoring for the Argentinian market, where traditionally there have been few options for reliable low-cost ambient monitoring.
To date, most of the Brainco designed systems are for EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) reference air quality monitoring systems. Reference instruments, however, are expensive and they are unsuitable for creating air quality monitoring networks offering street level granularity of measurement. Brainco had been looking for air quality monitoring equipment for lower budget projects, which is reliable and robust.
That South Coast Science is a significant way through certification with MCERTS for UK Particulate Matter was appealing to the distributor. They began discussions and quickly settled on a partnership agreement.
Cost-effectiveness and accuracy hand-in-hand
“The Praxis Urban is a nice solution for small environmental offices that are interested in monitoring air but can’t pay for a standard AQMS.
SCS instruments are field-tested that are ideal for customers to implement in a simple but reliable way. Its easy installation process and flexible reporting facilities will enable us to easily integrate them to our customer’s projects”
– Pablo Paniceres, Technical and commercial manager, Brainco
